Explore the beautiful countryside on horseback with our guided outrides through neighbouring vineyards, wheat fields, and dams. Outrides take place on Saturday afternoons and Sundays, offering riders a safe and scenic experience in small groups. Group sizes are limited to 5 riders to ensure a relaxed, enjoyable ride, and are subject to pony and instructor availability.
We strongly recommend that all riders complete at least one individual lesson before joining an outride, to ensure confidence and safety. When booking, please read the ride description carefully, as some rides are designed for beginners while others are better suited to advanced riders. If a ride is fully booked, you can join the waiting list in case of cancellations. Bookings open 30 days in advance, and you can browse, buy, and reserve your spot here: Outride Bookings.

Our Holiday Pony Camps are so much more than just a way to keep the kids busy during school breaks – they’re a chance for children to immerse themselves in the wonderful world of horses. Alongside daily riding, campers get hands-on experience learning how to groom, muck out stables, saddle up, and truly understand what it takes to care for a pony.
We also include fun and interactive sessions on horse health, tack care, and hoof care, giving children valuable knowledge and a sense of responsibility that goes far beyond the saddle.
But it’s not all work – there’s plenty of play too! Kids take part in traditional camp favourites like apple bobbing, sack races, and “boere sports,” making new friends and unforgettable memories in the process.
Our camps are designed to inspire confidence, a love of the outdoors, and of course, a passion for horses. Keep an eye on our social media pages and booking platform for upcoming camp dates and pricing – spaces are limited, and they fill up fast!
At Camelot Riding School, our in-house horse shows give children the chance to experience the excitement of competition in a supportive, friendly environment.
Riders compete at different levels for rosettes, learning the value of sportsmanship while still enjoying a fun-filled day at the stables. It’s a chance to dress up, polish ponies until they shine, and celebrate progress with friends and family.
For those eager to take the next step, our instructors are also available to accompany and guide riders at larger outside shows, helping them gain confidence and grow in their riding journey.
