I’ve been teaching at Camelot for the past 12 years. I started out as a beginner rider myself and gradually worked my way up, gaining experience by teaching part-time during the week and learning from the permanent instructors.
I teach riders of all levels, from complete beginners to more advanced riders, including little league riders as young as three years old. With the younger children, I incorporate fun memory games while also teaching them the basics—from grooming and communication with ponies to understanding safety around horses, which is essential from an early age.
My lessons focus on flatwork as a foundation, especially for jumping. I enjoy designing engaging flatwork and jumping exercises, building courses for shows, and exploring different techniques and riding styles to keep lessons both educational and fun.
I believe communication is key—between myself and the riders, and between riders and their horses. I always encourage students to let me know if they’re not feeling well or having an off day so I can adapt the lesson accordingly. Above all, safety comes first.
I truly love all the horses I work with. Over the years, I’ve developed a bond with each of them, and I always make sure they’re happy and comfortable before every lesson.
I’m a kind and compassionate riding instructor with a gentle, horse-first approach. I’m especially passionate about bitless and bridleless riding, believing that a calm, comfortable horse creates a confident, happy rider. My goal for every lesson—whether competitive or casual—to be a positive, enjoyable experience for both horse and rider.
With extensive experience in schooling, backing young horses, and managing large yards, I bring well-rounded knowledge to every session, including a strong understanding of equine care and medical needs.
I proudly compete my own horse without a bridle and love sharing this unique experience with others.
I’m also qualified to work with children with special needs and disabilities—a field
I studied after school—and find great joy in watching their confidence and connection with the horses grow. Whether you’re starting out or aiming for the show ring, I’m here to guide you with patience, care, and experience.
I've been riding for almost my entire life. I started at around 7 years old and have ridden my own horses, as well as many others along the way. I've worked as a work rider and trail guide within the horse industry
I enjoy teaching beginners the ropes, while developing their skills and understanding of horses and caring for them.
I don't have any particular one style or field of interest I teach, but rather prefer taking each student and working with them in a way that best suites that student.
In the same way each horse is different, each kiddie will also be, and I want to give them the opportunity to grow in their own capacity, while learning how to be kind, patient and compassionate with the horses, as I will be with them.
I've been riding horses for over 16 years and have spent 10 years sharing what I’ve learned as an instructor. I work with riders of all ages and truly enjoy helping people grow their confidence, skill, and connection with horses.
I believe that groundwork is just as important as time in the saddle. I take a calm, communicative approach to teaching, encouraging teamwork, trust, and clear communication between horse and rider. When we work with our horses—rather than trying to control them—we unlock something really special.
I work with both children and adults, adapting each lesson to suit the rider’s level, pace, and comfort. Whether it’s basic horsemanship, building a foundation for long-distance riding, or simply learning to feel at ease in the saddle, I aim to keep lessons engaging, calm, and grounded in partnership—with the horse and with yourself.
Whether you're just starting out or looking to deepen your understanding, I offer a supportive space where both horse and rider can learn, develop, and enjoy the journey together.
Because at the heart of every ride is a horse who wants to be understood—and once you feel that connection, there's nothing quite like it.
